Can you tell us about LOGOS Property?
LOGOS is a dynamic and growing logistics specialist with operations across 10 countries in Asia Pacific. LOGOS’ shareholders comprise ESR Group, APAC’s largest real asset manager powered by the New Economy and the third largest listed real estate investment manager globally, and its Founders, John Marsh and Trent Iliffe. LOGOS manages every aspect of logistics real estate, including investment management, sourcing land or facilities and undertaking development and asset management, on behalf of some of the world’s leading global real estate investors.
What is your role in the organization?
As the Head of Indonesia, I am responsible for the overall performance of LOGOS’ Indonesian operations. Our key activities include transaction sourcing, new property development, leasing, asset management, and suitable divestments. LOGOS’ Indonesian portfolio (once fully developed) includes the LOGOS Metrolink Logistics Hub Pondok Ungu, LOGOS Cileungsi Distribution Centre, LOGOS Interchange Logistics Hub Cibitung, and LOGOS Cikarang Logistics Park.
What is the current focus of LOGOS?
Our focus is to diligently develop and manage the five existing assets for our capital partners. Earlier this year, LOGOS also partnered with PT Astra International Tbk to develop and manage modern logistics warehouses, focusing on Greater Jakarta.
Why are you an IABC member?
By becoming a member of the IABC, we would like to contribute to a stronger economic partnership between Indonesia and Australia. As one of the largest Australian companies that operate in this country, LOGOS aims to leverage our industrial real estate expertise to promote closer ties between the two countries.
As businesses are recovering from COVID, what has changed from LOGOS and what are you looking forward to in the near future?
LOGOS is confident of the opportunities available in the Indonesian market and will continue to pursue opportunities to support the growth of this market by focusing on what we do best: developing modern logistics facilities to support the growth of our existing and future tenants. We look forward to expanding our portfolio to other geographical areas of Indonesia as well.
